Malaysia Company

CICET (Malaysia) Corporation Sdn Bhd is a wholly-owned subsidiary of China Chongqing International Corporation for Economic and Technical Cooperation (CICET). It was established in April 1991 with the approval of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation with a registered capital of RM10 million, and the paid-up capital of RM 968,800 (US$ 387,500). At the end of 2011, with the approval of the State-owned Assets

Supervision and Administration Commission and the group company, the international company increased the capital of the Malaysian company by 1,116,500 US dollars, and the paid-up capital of the Malaysian company reached 5 million Ringgit Malaysia  (US$1.549 million).

 

The company adheres to the operating principle of “Trustworthiness, Quality and Mutual Benefit” and carries out engineering contracting and related import and export trade in Malaysia. In terms of project contracting, the company has the G7 level of building qualification, which is the highest in Malaysia.

 

In June 2009, the Malaysian company passed the “ISO9001 Quality Certification”. The company continued to operate the ISO9001 quality management system effectively, strictly implemented the quality standards, improved the company’s management quality and service quality, and enabled the company to obtain the gold and silver team management quality awards, as well as the title of Excellent Main Contractor issued by the owner.

 

In 2002, the Malaysian company became one of the founding members of China Enterprises Association In Malaysia and served as a permanent member. Due to its outstanding role, the Malaysian company was re-elected as the vice president unit of the China Enterprises Association In Malaysia in 2011 after being recommended by the Commercial Counsellor’s Office.

 

Since its establishment, the company has cooperated with the Malaysian government and well-known developers IOI Group, S.P. SETIA, Tan Lai Kim (TLK) Group, GUMUDA Group and Ecoworld to build a large number of Industrial, civil and commercial buildings such as bangalow, high-rise apartments, terrace house, high-end commercial shophouses, commercial centers, and high-rise commercial office buildings, among which the 7-storey IOI Business Park, 22-storey “IOI Group TOWER2” and 13-storey “IOI Group TOWER1” commercial office building have become landmark buildings in the Puchong area of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

 

After more than 20 years of hard work, the company has had 69 building projects completed or under construction abroad, with a total contract value of about 520 million US dollars and a built-up area of about 1.7 million square meters. The company currently employs 56 people, including 19 Chinese employees and 37 local employees.
